About the Role

At Vaulted, we have an aggressive development plan for new sites. The pace at which we can ramp up our Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) generation is directly tied to our ability to source organic waste and new sites. In order to source these sites at scale, we need to be strategic about which sites we source and efficient about sourcing them. The GTM Strategy Manager will lead the development and implementation of Vaulted’s GTM strategy: Responsibilities include:

  • Strategy Development: (35%)
  • Go-to-market strategy for waste partnerships
  • State-level strategy for project development
  • Vaulted’s positioning to waste and land partners
  • One-off analyses
  • Strategy Execution (50%)
  • Lead the execution of cross-functional projects that touch the business development, regulatory, site-development, operations, commercialization, other teams
  • Support individual deals and with positioning, expertise, financial analysis, acquiring consultant support and executive presentations
  • Perform financial and market analysis on individual sites as they progress though Vaulted’s project development process
  • Develop tools to help Vaulted go to market efficiently
  • Standardize playbooks, tools and templates to make Vaulted more efficient
  • Coordinate Vaulted’s presence and brand at waste industry and partner conferences
  • Dive into special projects and tiger teams as needed
  • Internal Communications and Culture (15%)
  • Serve as the point person for planning and leading BD team events (ex: lunch-and-learns, team offsites)
  • Develop materials and represent the BD Team for things like Vaulted’s all-hands and offsites
  • Model Vaulted’s culture internally and externally

What You Will Bring

To succeed in this role, and to help the company to succeed in our mission, the GTM Strategy Manager will need relentless drive, hustle, and a deep sense of urgency. They will need to be able to manage multiple threads at the same time, while delivering rapid results if for no other reason than the planet simply cannot wait. In addition, we seek a candidate with:

  • 6+years of experience, including 2+ in climate-tech, energy, infrastructure BD or consulting
  • Ability to define strategy and then rigorously execute and iterate on it
  • Proven operator in high-growth environments; comfortable with ambiguity and O->1 problem solving
  • Experience leading cross-functions teams to get specific projects accomplished; when someone says tiger team, you are the first tiger
  • Experience working alongside or in a fast-paced sales or BD team
  • Sophisticated written and verbal communicator
  • Knowledge of and experience in positioning and messaging
  • Data-driven mindset, including experience working with various types of financial models
  • Experience managing a small team and managing both team members and third-party consultants
  • MBA or similar advanced degree preferred
