We are based in Northern California, with several other offices in the United States and around the world.
Job Description
As a Project Delivery Intern, you will support the Project Operations & Delivery team in managing and executing solar energy projects. You will gain hands-on experience in project coordination, customer engagement, and data analysis while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and sub-contractors. This internship provides an opportunity to develop essential project management skills in the renewable energy industry.
Responsibilities
Project Support & Coordination

Assist project managers in tracking and updating project schedules, budgets, and deliverables including development of drone flight operations schedules, review of project KMZs and layout files, and creation of project flight plans.

Support the implementation of project controls and EVMS tools to enable improved cost, schedule, and risk management functionality across projects and portfolios.

Support documentation and reporting efforts, including performing quality reviews of customized progress reports and maintaining project records and metrics.

Help coordinate meetings, record meeting minutes, and follow up on action items with internal and external stakeholders.

Facilitate the adoption of AI capabilities through the identification of new automation opportunities and process refinement suggestions which may reduce the human labor requirements through AI-based tool utilization (copilot, ChatGPT, etc.).
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

Communicate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution including financial reporting and subcontractor invoice management.

Assist in scheduling and coordinating project activities with various stakeholders.

Support customer engagement efforts by preparing presentations and status updates.
Data Analysis & Process Improvement

Analyze project data and assist in identifying trends or areas for improvement.

Support the team in optimizing workflows, project tracking, and risk management.

Work with project management tools to input and organize project-related information.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
-
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Energy, GIS/Remote Sensing, or a related field.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Advanced skill with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Interest or coursework in renewable energy, project management, or data analytics.

Experience using project management tools (JIRA, Microsoft Project, or similar).

Familiarity with solar energy components and construction processes is a plus.
