We are seeking an experienced Procurement Supervisor to drive sourcing, category management, supplier performance, and cost optimization initiatives across a variety of indirect spend categories. This role will partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to develop procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and deliver measurable business value.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Supervisor to drive sourcing, category management, supplier performance, and cost optimization initiatives across a variety of indirect spend categories. This role will partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to develop procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and deliver measurable business value.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing and category strategies for indirect spend categories, including Facilities, CAPEX, MRO, IT, Logistics, Professional Services, Marketing, Travel, and HR Services.
- Lead RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, supplier negotiations, and contract management activities.
- Identify and implement cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance metrics, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct spend analysis, market research, and cost modeling to support data-driven decision-making.
- Support capital projects, equipment procurement, and facility improvement initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement, supplier innovation, and sustainability initiatives across the supply base.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of procurement, sourcing, or category management experience.
- Experience managing indirect spend categories such as Facilities, CAPEX, MRO, IT, Logistics, Professional Services, or related areas.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Experience leading RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes utilizing e-sourcing platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage spend data and market intelligence.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency with procurement, ERP, and spend management systems.
