A prominent Aerospace & Automotive manufacturing company in Macomb County is seeking an experienced CMM Operator to join their growing quality team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with high-precision components in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect precision-machined components
• Utilize PC-DMIS software for running programs and performing dimensional inspections
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections
• Document and report inspection results accurately
• Identify non-conformances and communicate findings to Quality and Production teams
• Maintain calibration records and ensure compliance with aerospace/automotive standards

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of CMM operating experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong experience with PC-DMIS (program editing and running programs required)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Experience inspecting tight-tolerance, precision components
• Aerospace and/or Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
