Aegis is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our client's organization in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:

• 10+ years of industrial electrical engineering experience
• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) and Motor Control experience
• Allen Bradley PLC experience: program from scratch, modify, and troubleshoot
• AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical experience
• Experience with new equipment installs, legacy equipment upgrades, repairs, and modifications
• Electrical Safety Experience
• Flexibility to work 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM and a couple of Saturdays per year

Plus Haves:

• Strong with 13.8kV / high voltage systems
• 480V distribution experience (not mandatory).
• Experience with MCCs, control panels, SCADA systems.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70, and Chicago Electrical Code.
• Food or Pharma experience (open to other industries)
• Knowledge of FDA and SQF standards
