Aegis is currently partnering with a local manufacturing company in Elgin to identify a Purchasing Clerk to join their growing team!

Responsibilities:

• Purchase raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and services to meet production schedules.
• Manage full purchase order lifecycle within an ERP system—from creation to receipt to reconciliation.
• Track and maintain lot numbers, expiration dates, and documentation for food‑grade materials.
• Reconcile invoices with receiving records and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Requirments:

• 1+ year of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Dynamics, Fishbowl, etc.).
• Experience creating POs, receiving goods, reconciling invoices, and tracking lots/expirations.
