Training Supervisor

Location: Lebanon, TN

Position Overview

Aegis Worldwide is partnering with a manufacturing client in the Lebanon, TN area to hire a Training Supervisor. This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and leading site-wide training programs that support production operations, employee development, and overall plant performance.

This is a hands-on role that requires a strong presence on the production floor, working closely with cross-functional teams to assess processes, identify skill gaps, and build effective training solutions from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs for manufacturing employees across the site
  • Evaluate current processes and identify training needs to improve safety, quality, and operational efficiency
  • Lead training sessions and confidently present materials to groups of varying sizes and experience levels
  • Partner with production, quality, and leadership teams to ensure alignment on training initiatives
  • Monitor and measure training effectiveness, making continuous improvements as needed
  • Support onboarding and ongoing development of hourly employees and team leads
  • Maintain training documentation, records, and compliance standards
  • Spend significant time on the production floor observing workflows and engaging with employees

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience developing and implementing training programs from the ground up in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Proven leadership experience (formal or informal)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting with a hands-on, floor-based approach
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence at multiple levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Background in training within production or industrial environments
