We are seeking a Tooling Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and managing tooling for manufacturing processes. This role ensures tools meet specifications, quality standards, schedule, and budget requirements, supporting both internal teams and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain tooling layouts, BOMs, and documentation in accordance with standards and specifications.
• Support purchasing with tool quoting, procurement, and supplier management.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and project engineering teams on tool performance, certification, and improvement initiatives.
• Assist with proposal and sales engineering tasks, including quoting and responding to design changes.
• Conduct tooling design reviews and implement process improvements or cost-saving measures.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and required documentation for projects.
• Travel may be required to customer or supplier locations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in machine tool design, tooling development, or related engineering role.
• Proficient in CAD and standard office software.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, budgeting, and project management.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

• Primarily office work with some exposure to the manufacturing floor.
• May involve lifting up to 25 lbs and occasional standing, walking, or bending.
• Exposure to moderate noise, mechanical equipment, and manufacturing conditions.
