Controller – St. Charles, IL

Salary: $125K–$130K | Direct Hire

Our growing manufacturing client is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead their accounting team and drive financial operations in a custom job shop environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead a team of 3 (AP, AR, Payroll/HR)
• Manage cost accounting, journal entries, and month-end close (3-day target)
• Oversee financial reporting and variance analysis
• Support ERP transition to Epicor and bring payroll back in-house
• Train and develop the accounting team

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA a plus)
• 5+ years managing a small accounting team in manufacturing (job shop/custom environment preferred)
• Hands-on experience with cost accounting (materials, labor, overhead)
• Strong leadership, communication, and process improvement skills
