Food & Beverage Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced and driven Food & Beverage Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee all maintenance operations within our food and beverage production facility. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, maintaining regulatory compliance, and leading a skilled maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop the maintenance team (technicians, mechanics, electricians)
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Manage CMMS system and maintenance documentation
• Coordinate capital improvement projects and equipment installations
• Maintain compliance with:
• FDA regulations
• USDA requirements (if applicable)
• OSHA standards
• GMP and HACCP protocols
• Manage maintenance budgets, parts inventory, and vendor relationships
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma preferred)
• Support production scheduling and minimize operational disruptions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in food or beverage manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of:
• Packaging equipment
• Conveyance systems
• PLC troubleshooting
• Pumps, motors, and refrigeration systems
• Experience with CMMS systems
• Proven ability to manage teams and improve performance metrics
• Strong understanding of food safety and regulatory compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
• Experience with high-speed production lines
• Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
