Hardware

At Rhoda AI, we're building the full-stack foundation for the next generation of humanoid robots — from high-performance, software-defined hardware to the foundational models and video world models that control it. Our robots are designed to be generalists capable of operating in complex, real-world environments and handling scenarios unseen in training. We work at the intersection of large-scale learning, robotics, and systems, with a research team that includes researchers from Stanford, Berkeley, Harvard, and beyond. We're not building a feature; we're building a new computing platform for physical work — and with over $400M raised, we're investing aggressively in the R&D, hardware development, and manufacturing scale-up to make that a reality.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a schedule-driven NPI environment and is comfortable operating with partial information and making quick decisions — landing hardware on immovable bring-up and build dates. This role reports directly to the Head of Supply Chain.

What You'll Do

  • Drive daily actions to clear shortages, expedite with suppliers, and protect integration timelines

  • Reduce total cost, lead time, and risk

  • Convert purchase requests to purchase orders and follow POs through delivery and payment

  • Track on-time delivery and maintain reporting records

  • Onboard vendors and process invoices and payments with accounting

  • Maintain purchase status records and reporting

What We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years of purchasing or procurement experience, ideally in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Strong execution under pressure with clear written and verbal communication, reliable follow-through, and the judgment to escalate early to protect schedule

  • Comfortable executing while building structure and processes from scratch

  • Background in consumer, mobility, or medical device industries

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

  • Experience with Ramp

  • Experience reducing purchase-price variance (PPV) without increasing risk

  • Advanced spreadsheet and cost-modeling skills

Why This Role

  • Supply chain is a core competitive advantage in hardware — this role sits at the center of NPI execution with direct visibility into how the robot gets built

  • High ownership in a fast-moving environment where your decisions have real, immediate consequences on whether hardware lands on time

  • See your work come to life on real humanoid robots being deployed in the world
