Sr. Talent Partner – Temporary Position

In this position we expect the Sr. Talent Partner to successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to prioritize. They thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done. The best candidates will draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and have sharp business acumen, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders and hiring managers. They have a reputation for being exceptional at candidate generation, client/account management, are highly organized, effective communicators, possess the ability to prioritize, push back, and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, all while being highly customer focused and collaborative.

This position is required to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to meet the minimum essential duties and requirements of this position. As an on-site R&D and manufacturing operations organization, in-person face to face interaction is essential to building authentic relationships, trust, teamwork, and collaboration.

ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties:

  • Partner in-person with on-site hiring teams to build and execute effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment. Be onsite to support users with the entire Talent Acquisition processes, understanding their needs, inquires and foster positive relationships across the organization.
  • Partner effectively with recruiting team peers and cross-functional partners (HR Total Reward and People Programs, People Ops, HRBP, Finance, SuccessFactors Systems and Programs teams, etc.) to ensure the highest candidate acceptance level and a seamless new employee on-boarding.
  • Must be able to understand how to recruit passive candidates at all levels and develop sophisticated closing strategies that seek for matching fit and motivation rather than focusing on selling alone.
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company. Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Possess strong ability to screen, interview and prepare a candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
  • Responsible for receiving onsite candidate interviews by welcoming candidates, introducing them to the QS worksite environment, escorting them to their interviews, introducing them to the hiring interviewers, and closing out the in-person interview process.
  • Improve the SuccessFactors Position Management and Recruiting Module and establish new/improve current workflows by working with internal customers to understand needs, the People Ops Success Factors team to consider system solutions, and the TA team for implementation and documentation.
  • Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent industry experience & training
  • A minimum of 5+ years of progressive recruiting experience, sourcing and closing candidates but preferably 10+ years with experience recruiting across multiple job functions and skillsets
  • Experience using SAP SuccessFactors for recruiting is preferred

  • Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, diversity sourcing and interview process management.
  • Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team leader and member.
  • Strong client focus and commitment to continuous improvement; ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, must pursue conscious cost-containment efforts in recruiting, continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to the customer.
  • Strong communication skills, in-person presence with the ability to build strong interpersonal relationships, strong organizational and negotiation skills, with a keen focus on delivering business results.

Compensation: As a temporary position, this role is eligible for a base rate which will be dependent on the candidate experience and qualifications. The range is $100,000-$140,000
