Lime is the largest global shared micromobility business, operating in close to 30 countries across five continents. We’re on a mission to build a future where transportation is shared, affordable and carbon-free. Our electric bikes and scooters have powered more than one billion rides in cities around the world. Named a 2025 Time 100 Most Influential Company, Lime continues to set the pace for shared micromobility globally, spurring a new generation of clean alternatives to car ownership.

We are seeking a proactive, data-driven, and entrepreneurial-minded individual to join our San Francisco Local Operations team as a Junior Operations Associate. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in optimizing our fleet operations, coordinating team efforts both in the warehouse and out in the field, and serving as the local expert to identify and address the unique needs of our riders. From ensuring vehicle readiness in the warehouse to supporting seamless customer experiences, you will tackle diverse challenges that define our operational success. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the evolution of mobility solutions in San Francisco while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

This is a warehouse-based position that requires an onsite presence Monday through Friday.

What You'll Do:

  • Team Development: Onboard, train, and coach Mechanics and Fleet Support staff to ensure efficient deployment and retrieval of shared electric vehicles while fostering a team-oriented environment.

  • Team Integration: Assist with the facilitations of new team members, creating a supportive and collaborative work culture.

  • Performance Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to warehouse leadership on team performance to help drive continuous improvement.

  • Operational Excellence: Identify and share best practices to enhance operational efficiency within the warehouse and contribute to Lime's global community of excellence.

  • Compliance: As the central hub for our San Francisco operations, you will lead the real-time monitoring of the SFMTA ticket queue to ensure the fleet stays compliant. You are responsible for strategically assigning tasks to field teams, ensuring every SFMTA and 311 report is resolved within strict SLA windows to maintain our 90% compliance rating. Success in this role requires a high level of urgency and an eagle eye for detail to verify that all closing photos meet city standards and prevent costly fines. Ultimately, you are the frontline defense for our permit, turning incoming data into immediate field action to keep the city satisfied and the fleet moving.

  • Warehouse Operations: Support the maintenance of a safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse environment, ensuring vehicles remain fully operational to meet market demands. Will be required to safely operate a push cart, pallet jack, and/or forklift to move vehicle inventory. Where applicable, forklift certification will be necessary.

  • KPI Monitoring: Assist warehouse leadership in tracking key performance indicators related to repairs per hour, tasks per hour, backlog and operational efficiencies.

  • Regulatory Support: Collaborate with warehouse leadership in their support to the Government Relations team on legal, regulatory, and safety matters as needed.

  • Event Participation: Engage in Lime events, supporting revenue growth initiatives, providing valet services, and conducting safety reviews to enhance customer experiences.

  • Issue Reporting: Identify and report operational or product-related issues, supporting leadership in investigating customer complaints and service incidents.

  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct and oversee vehicle maintenance and quality checks, manage battery inventory, and ensure vehicles are ready for deployment

  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other job-related tasks as assigned to support warehouse and field operations which may include safely operating a Lime van

About You:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver license and clean driving record

  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English

  • 1 year of experience in a professional setting (internship, entry-level operations role, or equivalent experience preferred) with exposure to operational processes and workforce management

  • Demonstrate a safety-oriented mindset with experience in continuous improvement and addressing day-to-day challenges to improve service quality.

  • Strong work ethic with an entrepreneurial mindset, and a readiness to take on increasing levels of responsibilities and a commitment to enhancing stakeholder management and collaboration skills

  • Ability to understand data to assist warehouse leadership with decisions around cost optimization and operational efficiency.

  • Familiarity with Excel and Google Sheets

  • Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 35 kg on a frequent basis.

  • Experience safely operating a pallet jack or push cart. Where markets require the use of a forklift, Lime will coordinate a certification
