Lime is the largest global shared micromobility business, operating in close to 30 countries across five continents. We’re on a mission to build a future where transportation is shared, affordable and carbon-free. Our electric bikes and scooters have powered more than one billion rides in cities around the world. Named a 2025 Time 100 Most Influential Company, Lime continues to set the pace for shared micromobility globally, spurring a new generation of clean alternatives to car ownership.
Lime is hiring an Operations Associate, Compliance to join our Operations team and strengthen compliance, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making across both in-warehouse and field operations. In this role, you’ll analyse complex datasets to identify risks and opportunities, and lead optimisation initiatives that improve utilisation, reduce costs, and enhance service quality. You’ll build a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and operational standards, help mitigate key business risks, and ensure our processes meet legal and safety obligations. You’ll also build trusted relationships with regulators and council officials and serve as the link between local Government Relations and Operations—communicating market needs, prioritising operational requests, and partnering cross-functionally on initiatives such as expanding bikes within the region.
We’re looking for a data-driven, detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You can balance tactical execution with strategic thinking, translating insights into action, embedding compliance into day-to-day operations, and working closely with cross-functional partners. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the systems, standards, and strategies that underpin Lime’s growth and operational excellence.
This is a warehouse-based position that requires an onsite presence Monday through Friday!
What You’ll Do:
Analyse large, complex datasets to identify inefficiencies, uncover missed opportunities, and develop actionable insights that improve decision-making across operations.
Lead optimisation initiatives by translating data trends into strategic recommendations, focusing on improving utilisation, reducing costs, increasing compliance and enhancing service quality.
Continuously raise the bar for operational excellence by defining performance benchmarks, measuring progress, and implementing data-backed improvements across teams and workflows.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of compliance requirements, regulatory obligations, and operational standards to ensure the business operates within all necessary guidelines.
Identify, map, and monitor key business risks, implementing data-driven controls and proactive mitigation strategies to reduce exposure and safeguard operations.
Analyse rider behaviors, usage patterns, and market dynamics to inform placement strategies, pricing models, and growth opportunities.
Build strong external relationships with regulators/council officials to support collaboration, trust and transparency in compliance activities
Serve as the bridge between the local Government Relations team and the operations team, translating market needs, into operational priorities and work cross-functionally to operationalize projects (e.g. regional bike expansion).
Partner with Ops, Legal, Product, and Gov to embed compliance and risk controls into core processes and decision-making.
-
Serve as a strategic partner to leadership by presenting clear, data-driven narratives that guide investment decisions, operational priorities, and long-term planning.
About You:
1-3 years of professional work experience; ideally 1+ year of experience within an Operations position with a strong understanding of warehouse compliance
Experience leading teams or groups preferred
Excellent problem solving skills - you can solve complex problems in a logical and structured manner
Data driven in everything that you do - you must be very data centric and able to process and analyse data to solve problems, spot opportunities as well as performance trends. (SQL and G-sheets)
Work well under pressure - you must be able to handle competing demands and prioritize ruthlessly
Can-do attitude, no task is below you
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated ownership and accountability to deliver precise and meaningful impact
An organized individual who can work independently with tight deadlines in a multicultural environment
