Lime is hiring a Senior Principal Product Manager to lead our Hardware Product team. In this high-impact role, you will shape the future of Lime’s global fleet by owning the vision, strategy, and execution of our hardware product portfolio. You will lead a team of product managers and collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and business leadership to deliver world-class vehicles that serve millions of riders and enable efficient operations around the globe.

As a key leader within Lime’s Product organization, you will operate at both a strategic and executional level—driving product innovation, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring flawless delivery and sustained success in the field.

We are a remote-first company and welcome applications from anywhere we operate. For this role, it is preferred that candidates are based within 60 minutes of a major US city where Lime operates.

What You'll Do

• Set Vision and Strategy: Own the long-term vision and strategy for Lime’s hardware products, aligning roadmaps with company goals, user needs, and operational priorities.
  

• Lead and Inspire: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of product managers focused on vehicle hardware and firmware development.
  

• Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with engineering, industrial design, operations, supply chain, software, and executive leadership to bring products from concept to launch.
  

• Champion the User Experience: Use customer insights and data to design intuitive, robust, and delightful vehicle experiences for riders and operational teams.
  

• Ensure Operational Excellence: Own the full product lifecycle—from early concept and prototyping, through development, launch, iteration, and fleet-wide scale.
  

• Bridge Hardware and Software: Engage deeply in technical discussions, understanding and navigating trade-offs across hardware, software, firmware, and systems engineering.
  

• Drive Business Impact: Identify strategic opportunities to improve efficiency, scale operations, and grow the business through innovative hardware solutions.
  

• Executive Partner: Influence and advise senior leadership, regularly presenting strategic plans, performance updates, and business cases for investment.
  

• Global Impact: Ensure Lime’s vehicles perform reliably across diverse markets and climates, and continually evolve to meet changing market needs.
  

About You

• 12+ years of product management experience, with significant leadership in hardware and/or firmware product development (e.g., IoT, consumer electronics, vehicles, robotics).
  

• Proven success delivering high-impact hardware products at scale, from conception through commercialization.
  

• Strong leadership presence and experience leading teams of PMs in a matrixed, fast-paced organization.
  

• Passionate about micromobility, sustainability, and the future of urban transportation.
  

• Deep customer empathy, with a track record of translating user needs into compelling product solutions.
  

• Data-driven mindset—comfortable with analytics, experimentation, and driving insights from both quantitative and qualitative sources.
  

• Comfortable with ambiguity; able to bring structure, clarity, and focus to complex problem spaces.
  

• Strong communicator; adept at influencing across all levels—from C-suite to technical teams to frontline operators.
  

• Willing and able to travel at least 6 times per year to San Francisco or other key operational locations.
