Lime is hiring a France Policy Manager to join our Policy and Communications team. In this role you’ll engage with Government, Cities and other public institutions in order to develop our shared electric mobility services in France.

As a Policy Manager, you’ll join a dynamic and diverse team who shares a common vision for sustainable urban mobility. You’ll embody this vision towards elected officials in France, and will efficiently translate back external political concerns and demands to Lime. Thus, you’ll facilitate the alignment between the needs of a fast growing tech & mobility company with the ones of our partner Cities and Government, and participate in the success of our mission.

The individual hired into this position must be based in Paris with the ability to travel throughout France on a regular basis.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and execute strategies to improve Lime’s political reputation and preserve a friendly regulatory environment in our existing markets

  • Support in executing campaigns targeting local political decision makers in order to develop our activity in new territories across France

  • Establish strategic relationships with elected officials, local authorities and third party stakeholders, regularly meeting with them to build trust and mutual interest, mitigate potential obstacles and convey the company’s priorities and strategies

  • Help local authorities, transport operators, local partners and other relevant institutions understand how Lime’s mobility solutions can work for their cities

  • Imagine and develop partnerships with third parties to further establish our brand at a national and local level

  • Monitor and identify political developments in France and upcoming challenges for our activity

  • Collaborate closely with other Lime team members on operations, legal, product, marketing, and communications activities

  • Support a variety of written submissions on behalf of the company, including Requests for proposals, newsletters and reports to political stakeholders

About you:

  • Fluent in French, English proficiency (spoken & written)

  • Degree in political science, public affairs or equivalent

  • 4+ years experience in public affairs, political campaigns, and/or business development in a government-related environment

  • A deep understanding of French politics and Policy

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; with the ability to create and develop relationships with external third parties and experienced in producing various documents (requests for proposals, reports, etc.)

  • Self starter, able to work independently and problem-solving skills

  • Great team spirit, that takes pride in winning together

  • Capacity to innovate and imagine creative strategies and campaigns

  • Strong interest in sustainable mobility, urban planning, environment and leveraging tech innovation at the service of the general interest
