Event Sales Manager

We are seeking an Event Sales Manager to join the Latitude Media sales team.

About Latitude Media

Latitude Media covers the new frontiers of the energy transition, delivering B2B news, podcasts, and events for investors, utilities, and energy innovators. We partner with leading companies and stakeholders in the climate tech ecosystem to provide high-quality, actionable insights and lead-generating platforms.

About the role

We are seeking a driven and relationship-oriented Event Sales Manager to grow sponsorship revenue across our expanding portfolio of live events. In this role, you will identify and close new event sponsorship opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-impact experiences for sponsors and attendees.

This is a revenue-focused role at the cross-section of Latitude’s sales and events business, ideal for someone excited about the energy transition and the power of convening industry leaders. The scope of the role scales with experience. Junior hires will focus on outbound prospecting and sales support, while mid-level hires will own sponsor relationships and manage deals through the full sales cycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sponsorship revenue across Latitude Media’s event portfolio, including conferences, live podcasts, and executive gatherings.
  • Identify, research, and prospect new event sponsors across energy, utilities, climate tech, finance, and adjacent sectors.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of event-focused opportunities through outbound outreach, inbound leads, and strategic targeting.
  • Own sponsor sales conversations, from discovery through proposal development, negotiation, and contract close.
  • Collaborate closely with events, marketing, and client teams to design custom sponsorship packages and integrated partner programs.
  • Ensure sponsors receive a high-quality experience, including activation planning, deliverables tracking, and post-event reporting.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, track pipeline progress, and support revenue forecasting for event sponsorship sales.
  • Represent Latitude Media at industry events and help strengthen our reputation as a trusted convenor in the energy transition ecosystem.
  • Stay informed on trends in the power sector and energy transition to identify new sponsorship categories and partner needs.

About you

Required qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in event sponsorship sales, partnerships, business development, or account management — ideally in B2B events or media.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and sell high-value sponsorship or marketing programs to external partners.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with comfort engaging senior-level stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deals and timelines simultaneously.
  • Experience using CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) to manage pipeline and reporting.
  • Interest in the energy transition, climate tech, and the business forces shaping the future of power.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and excited to contribute in a fast-growing organization.

Other nice-to-have qualifications:

  • Experience selling sponsorships to companies in energy, utilities, climate tech, or infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with digital media sponsorships (banner ads, newsletters, podcasts, etc.).
  • Background working with conferences, executive summits, webinars, or branded programming.
  • Understanding of how content and events work together to drive partner ROI.
