Role Description
Form Energy is hiring a Staff Industrial Program Manager experienced in high-volume production for a greenfield factory. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end process from design to execution, ensuring the successful launch of the factory. This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in Lean manufacturing principles, project management, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget while meeting high standards of product quality and industrial performance. This is an exciting opportunity to start from a blank slate and use the first principles fundamentals to design the Form Factory as a fully integrated product with the ambition to enable the most advanced high volume battery manufacturing in the world.
This opportunity is based out of Form Energy's Eighty Four, PA facility. Relocation assistance is available.
What you'll do:
Lead cross-functional teams through the entire program lifecycle, from design to factory launch, managing schedule, risks & opportunities.
Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and design teams to ensure the factory layout, processes, and equipment are optimized for high-volume production and align with Lean manufacturing principles.
Coordinate all aspects of the factory launch, including equipment installation, process commissioning & validation, and personnel training.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and waste elimination across all functional areas.
Develop & manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.
Establish and maintain project timelines, closely monitoring progress, and taking corrective actions as needed to meet deadlines.
Communicate regularly with key stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and achievements.
What you'll bring:
6 or more years of experience as a Program Manager in the set-up and launch of greenfield factories with a focus on high-volume production
Extensive knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and their application in factory design and production processes
Strong project management skills, including budget & timeline management
Experience with risk management and problem-solving in complex industrial projects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field, advanced degree is a plus
