What we are looking for:

We are seeking a dynamic Technical Product Manager to lead the development and optimization of our IoT solutions, API integrations, and data pipelines. This role involves understanding both the technical specifics and the business applications of our products. The position reports to the VP of Product in the USA and is ideally located within commuting distance of the Bangalore, India office.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Technical Product Ownership: Define, prioritize, and drive the product roadmap for our IoT solutions, APIs, and data pipelines in the AgTech domain.
• Requirement Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders including farmers, agronomists, and business teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Collaboration: Work with engineering, design, and data science teams to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
• API Management: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the API integrations for third-party systems and platforms.
• Data Management: Ensure robustness and scalability of the data pipelines, ensuring data quality and timely delivery for analytics and other applications.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the product meets quality standards and user requirements.
• Market Research: Stay abreast of AgTech trends, competitors, and new technologies to continuously innovate and enhance the product offerings.
• Documentation: Create technical documentation, user manuals, and product guidelines.
• Feedback Loop: Set up mechanisms to obtain feedback from end-users and iterate on product features accordingly.
• Go-to-market strategy: Collaborate with product marketing, marketing and sales teams for product launches and promotional activities.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AgTech, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably in IoT, API, or data-driven products.
• Understanding of the agriculture domain and preferably experience from within the AgTech Industry.
• Technical proficiency in understanding API architecture, data pipelines, and IoT devices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Capability to clearly and concisely document product requirements and collaterals.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.
