AMP Robotics is hiring a Part Time Accounting Intern reporting to the Accounting Manager. The Accounting Intern will be on a flexible hybrid schedule. The Accounting Intern will be responsible for data entry and other projects in the areas of payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable. Additionally, this role will be responsible for other projects as assigned by management.

As our Accounting Intern, you will work to:

• Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
• Complete accounts payable transactions such as entering invoices, verifying transaction information, and classifying transactions.
• Review and enters additional transactions including credit card and payroll transactions.
• Complete accounts receivable transactions including preparing and emailing invoices; identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments.
• Collect revenue by reminding delinquent accounts; notifying customers of insufficient payments.
• Interact with customers and vendors to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• Verify accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
• Resolve account discrepancies by investigating documentation.
• Assist with preparation of sales and use tax returns and maintains use tax records.
• Assist with maintenance of records for other areas including but not limited to inventory, fixed assets, and prepaids.
• Maintain financial security by following internal accounting controls.
• Provide back-up and assistance to office staff as needed.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands: .

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

• Flexible hybrid schedule (Louisville, CO or hyrbid including work from home / remotely)
• Must be located within commutable distance to Louisville, CO headquarters.

Hours:

• This person can expect 10-20 hours per week
